Noteflight Advisory Board Formed
Cambridge, MA (PRWEB) November 24, 2008 -- Noteflight, LLC, creator of the innovative Noteflight online music notation application, today announced the formation and initial membership of its Advisory Board. The Noteflight Advisory Board is a group of individuals who will jointly provide guidance and steering to the company's ambitious research, development and business initiatives.
The board's inaugural members include Dr. Donald Byrd, Senior Scientist, Adjunct Associate Professor of Informatics and Adjunct Associate Professor of Music at Indiana University and a recognized pioneer in the development of music notation software; Dr. Ingrid Monson, Quincy Jones Professor of African-American Music at Harvard University, an accomplished ethnomusicologist, author and expert on music of the African diaspora; and Rick Treitman, Entrepreneur in Residence at Adobe Systems and the Founder and former CEO of Virtual Ubiquity - the creator of Buzzword.
